isn't 100 such a nice round number? 100 miles, in europe. summer plans. so lovely. and today as i told a coworker about it i felt the potenial agony of walking those 100 miles... up something that requires trekking poles.


i MUST find time to hike NOW!


it's day 28. (or 27?) time to step it up. literally. ha ha. early mornings? hiking boots in the trunk for an after work stroll up something very very tall? i'm not sure how to make it happen... esp while i'm still teaching so much, but let's be creative. don't i know any songs about climbing mountians? couldn't we take a field trip?


speaking of things in the way... my bedroom feels like an rei store. i cannot find spots for all my new hiking paraphanelia... and lately i just want to pack right now and get it over with, leave my big suitcase in the living room for a month and call it a day.



no more time now... perhaps deep thoughts later.
