rain in la feels incredibly cozy and nourishing. it's been falling for the past few days, and coincides nicely with my flu. eating soup and staying in the bed mostly, except for the teaching i have to keep up with. i'm on the mend though, and off to the grocery store for chocolate chips, tissues and orange juice. cooking is the good simple stuff of fall weather and friends over, and i'm craving homemade cookies.
