i just paid $5 for an hour of email access in old town. i might be crazy... but i feel reminiscent of days in south africa, dropping money on email like it was nothing.

it is cool and breezy in here, and i love my ice coffee in this tall glass.

i painted my ceilings this morning and am trying to get psyched up for yet another trip to dunn edwards for eggplant latex flat interior and more 1 inch tape. my car doesn't do well in this heat though, and i don't know if i can handle the drive.

back to school yesterday, was good to be hugged and know i was missed there. sometimes i don't want to leave, knowing i would miss key people. but then i remember all the ways i want to continue to grow professionally, and i hope something comes up for next year that will be different and challenging. i like new beginnings and want to dream this year about jobs... i could see a lot of things.

things i didn't know i would love about my new house... the ceiling fans... so relaxing. the front porch... i think i already found the spot where i most like to be. the windows... great wood.

more later... i have no internet at home, the phone guy comes tommorow to hook up more jacks.

rudy, that was so cool when you stopped your talk on sunday to hug sam sam.
