i love my new blouse. it flows easily and has cap sleeves with little buttons. it's black with white dots and matches my thrift store white denim pants. i could wear it with jeans, or my pink scarf. it's dressy but comfortable. full of possibility.
it's feminine in a way passed down to me through generations. when i teach wearing it, smiles come naturally and i feel calm. and when i wash dishes as the sun goes down and catch my reflection in the kitchen window, i imagine myself a mother.
