the time rolls quickly, and without a computer i am delinquent in blogging.

silence is helpful for a season though. more and more the spiritual growth that happens for me happens in the mystery of prayer, of sharing space and depth with others, in the vibrant dreams that i wake up with and carry with me through the days. i am grateful for much, and a life of wholeness slowly uncovers itself before me.

my jobs are starting slowly, and i sense that each one will uniquely inspire and challenge me this year. teaching feels different these days, more relaxed and joyful, and i sing lullubies in the shower and treasure moments of magic in the eyes of children.

my piano teacher and i speak half in english and spanish about chopin etudes, and she is so excited she will come to my house this sat for an extra lesson.

i am still dreaming about my patio and trying to plan a way to include a swing and hammock under the wisteria.

tonight i go to a new women's group, the psalms and painting. hmmmm.

i am hoping for a trip to europe in june, and my new friends from denmark are slowly convincing me to put copenhagen on the list. i have a friend in cairo, and i'm intrigued by bike tours through italy.
